An introduction to the "2 Ribbons," the two forces that keep our American culture and people safe against outside threats and inside vulnerabilities.
The first ribbon, a blue ribbon, consists of law enforcement, fire departments and medical care. The second ribbon consists of the armed forces, national guard and more.
What happens when one of these ribbons is stressed by, say, rioting or pandemics? How is the other ribbon affected? How do they affect each other? What happens to the populace and culture of the US if they begin to fray? Fail?
